Soccer Star Aaron Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Lost Canine in Mexican Territory to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Welsh football star Ramsey has raised the bounty for information regarding the lost canine named Halo to £15k.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now plays for the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, mentioned that Halo was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state area.
The beagle, who went missing on 9 October, was wearing a GPS collar, and Ramsey shared a exact coordinates of where she was last seen.
"Any information regarding our beloved Halo kindly contact us. Substantial bounty for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and will return with us quickly," the athlete shared on social media.
Earlier Bounty and Emotional Pleas
The footballer first announced that Halo had gone missing 14 days prior and has since uploaded multiple pictures of the beloved canine on his social media account.
A £7.5k incentive was initially offered, but with no news on the dog's status after a week, Ramsey and his family doubled the sum.
"Our only wish is our girl home," he said in another request on his online platforms after the elderly pet was lost.
A recent image post is a black and white snapshot of the beagle napping, its head resting in the bend of Ramsey's elbow, with the caption: "What I wouldn't give to hold you one last time sweet Halo."
Household's Worries and Background
Ramsey has additionally shared a message from his wife Colleen on social media indicating they have a few "important questions" surrounding the incident and fear the household "might not receive clarity".
"We still are still searching for Halo. It is unlikely we will," the spouse's update read.
The Welsh captain signed with Mexico's first division team Pumas UNAM in recent months and made his debut in the Mexican league in August.
