British Airways revealed that the free, “reliable and lightning-fast” connectivity provision via Starlink will be offered to travelers flying coach, premium economy, or premium cabins as of soon.

The umbrella company for British Airways, International Airlines Group, confirmed it had reached an partnership involving Starlink for providing connectivity access for over 500 jets across their airlines, which also include Aer Lingus, Iberia, and Vueling.

BA noted that the implementation for the system formed part of a seven billion pound “modernization” initiative and will deliver smooth wifi access to travelers from the gate through landing, including when they are flying across oceans and far-off locations.

Members of the airline's reward scheme may send communications and plain-text correspondence onboard free of charge, whereas flyers wishing to access audio, films, and movies throughout their travel who are not travelling in first class can expect to pay between £4.99 to £21.99 for a connectivity package.
